László Kasik is an associate professor of social and emotional education at the University of Szeged (Hungary), and head of the Social Competence Research Group at the University of Szeged. His research interests are varied and span the field of education, educational psychology and social psychology. Research areas include development of social competence; coping, social problem-solving and avoidance among adolescents; social and emotional learning in family and school.
