16^th Conference on Educational Assessment

Submissions are welcome in three formats: symposium, paper and poster. Abstracts are submitted electronically by uploading them to the conference website. One participant may be a first author of no more than two presentations. In addition, one participant may act once as a chairperson of a symposium and once as a discussant. One paper (presented either at a symposium or a thematic session) or one poster may have no more than five authors.

 

Symposium sessions are organized and directed by a chairperson, and the discussant is also nominated by the symposium organizer. A symposium is scheduled for one and half hours, and is comprised of three or four presentations followed by feedback from the discussant and an open discussion with the audience. Symposia proposals, including the paper abstracts are submitted by the chairperson. The review notification will be sent only to the chairperson of the symposium, who in turn should inform the presenters. Contributors of the symposia (chairperson, discussant and presenting authors) should register for the conference before submission.

 

Papers are organized by the Scientific Programme Committee into thematic sessions. These sessions are moderated by a chair appointed by the Committee. Paper sessions are scheduled for one and a half hours, usually with four or five presenters, each followed by a discussion with the audience. Presenting author of the paper should register for the conference before submission.

 

Posters can be presented in sessions organized by the Scientific Programme Committee. These sessions are moderated by a chair appointed by the Committee. Please bring posters not larger than 150x150cm. Poster sessions are scheduled for one and a half hours, consist of 5 minutes oral presentations of the authors, followed by individualized, informal discussions with interested attendees. Presenting author of the poster should register for the conference before submission.
